1. Introduction & Core Philosophy
Dua Finder is committed to protecting your privacy. We operate on a privacy-first, offline-first principle:
- No User Accounts: You do not need to create an account or provide any personal information to use the app.
- No Query Logging: Your search queries, feelings, situations, and bookmarks stay on your device and are never collected, sent to, or stored on our servers.
- Offline Storage: All favorites, tasbih counts, and settings are stored locally on your device's private storage.
2. Information We Collect and Process
A. Information Stored Locally on Your Device
- Search History & Favorites: Stored in your local SQLite database for quick access.
- App Preferences: Language (English/Arabic), theme (Light/Dark/System), and font size preferences.
- Notification Schedule: Stored in on-device local alarm managers for daily and Friday reminders.
B. Third-Party Services
To support the ongoing maintenance of the App and provide optional premium features, we integrate trusted third-party services:
- Google AdMob: Serves non-intrusive ads on select non-reading screens with Content Rating 'G' (General Audiences). Supports GDPR/CCPA consent management via Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP). Users in the EEA/UK can manage consent choices in the App settings. Google Privacy Policy

3. Children's Privacy (COPPA)
Dua Finder is designed for general audiences of all ages, including families. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. All advertisements are filtered for general family audiences (Content Rating: G).
4. Data Retention & Deletion
Because all your data (favorites, search history, tasbih counts) is stored locally on your device:
- You have complete control over your data at all times.
- Clearing the App data/cache in your Android settings or uninstalling the App permanently deletes all local data immediately.
5. Security
We take reasonable and appropriate technical measures to safeguard your information. All communications with third-party APIs (such as Google Play Billing or AdMob) use industry-standard HTTPS/TLS encryption.
